Located in eight West Village carriage and row houses that served as the original site of the Whitney Museum of American Art, the New York Studio School is a National Historic Landmark. It houses an impressive array of programs which make the School a completely unique institution with equally unique funding challenges. Currently, the survival of our educational programs depends on funds raised on a year-to-year basis, however, our long-term goal is to establish and build endowment funds to stabilize these programs.
