The artists who comprise the faculty of the School do not provide students with easy formulae. Rather, they wish to develop the student's intuitive artistry and to provide the young artist with those technical alternatives that will permit the student to speak with his or her own voice. Each artist offers a unique aesthetic bias; there is not any one dominant direction in the School. There is consensus, however, in favor of study from observation.
