Poet, fiction writer, critic, editor, and co-publisher of Black Square Editions/Brooklyn Rail Books. Arts Editor, Brooklyn Rail, since 2005. Recent publications include A Thing Among Things: The Art of Jasper Johns (2009) and Exhibits (2010). Copper Canyon Press will publish his next book of poetry, Further Adventures in Monochrome, in spring 2012. Mr. Yau is Associate Professor at Mason Gross School of the Arts (Rutgers University, NJ).
