Recent recipient of the Milton and Sally Avery Arts Foundation Grant; the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant and the ArtOMI Studio Residency in Ghent, NY. Contributing writer for ARTnews, Art Books in Review co-editor for The Brooklyn Rail, and contributing editor for artcritical.com.  This talk is concurrent with a solo exhibition of the artist's work at Elizabeth Harris Gallery, February 9 through March 10, 2012.
