On Her Work
Painter and sculptor Nicole Eisenman has had recent solo exhibitions at The New Museum, The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego, The Institute of Contemporary Art Philadelphia, The Contemporary Art Museum of St. Louis, and Studio Voltaire. Group exhibitions include Sadie Coles Gallery, Museum Brandhorst, the 2012 Whitney Biennial, and 2013 Carnegie International, in which she won the Carnegie Prize. Her work is in the permanent collections of the MoMA, the Art Institute of Chicago, and The Whitney Museum. A 2015 MacArthur Fellow, Eisenman lives and works in Brooklyn. Her work is represented by Anton Kern in New York, Susanne Vielmetter in Los Angeles, and Barbara Weiss in Berlin.
