NY-based artist Polly Apfelbaum received her BFA from Tyler School of Art. Recent shows include Otis College of Art; Brown University; MOCA Cleveland; Camden Art Center; Everson Museum; Albright Knox Museum; Perez  Museum; Be-Part; Frith Street Gallery; and The Suburban. A major traveling mid-career survey of her work initiated by the ICA Philadelphia debuted in 2003, and her work is in many public collections, including MoMA, Whitney Museum, Carnegie Museum, Philadelphia Museum and Dallas Museum of Art. Honors include a Rome Prize, Guggenheim Fellowship, Joan Mitchell Grant, and Anonymous Was a Women Grant.
