These pages provide links to external webpages that help students gain further information about aspects of their artistic, scholarly, or professional interests.

Each fall, workshops are provided for full-time enrolled students on a variety of topics, including practical workshops on materials, health and safety issues in the studio, and preparation of digital portfolios. The Fall 2009 series had a blog for students that included postings of resources, information, and themes for upcoming seminars. Use the link below to view messages and ideas.

New York Foundation for the Arts - NYFA gives more support to artists and art organizations than any other private organization in the country. Includes information on fellowships (see link below) as well as job listings, internships, event listings, and general opportunities for artists in the NY region

CUE Art Foundation - A forum for contemporary art based in Chelsea that provides opportunities for under-recognized artists. Of particular interest to soon-to-be and recent graduates is their "Meeting Artists' Needs" program, but they also offer internships, exhibitions, and other programs

Higher Education Jobs - Career-specific listings for a variety of academic jobs in a range of institutions

New York State Teaching Certification - Information from the NYS Office of Teaching Initiatives providing basic resources on teaching in NYS, help in gaining certification for high school teaching and other resources for those interested in pursuing a teaching career at K-12 level
