HARRY ROSEMAN Harry Roseman was born in Brooklyn, New York. After receiving a B.F.A from the Pratt Institute he worked as an artist’s assistant for Joseph Cornell for three years and for Tony Smith for one year. He has had one person exhibitions at The Menil Collection, Houston, TX; The University Art Museum of California, Santa Barbara; Daniel Weinberg Gallery in San Francisco and Los Angeles, CA; Dart Gallery, Chicago, IL; 55 Mercer Street Galley, New York; Barbara Mathes Gallery, New York; and at Gallery Joe, Philadelphia and Davis & Langdale Company, New York, both of which represent his work. His work is in the collections of the Achenbach Foundation for the Graphic Arts, Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, CA; Addison Gallery of American Art, Phillips Academy, Andover, MA; Brooklyn Museum of Art, Brooklyn, NY; Cincinnati Museum of Art, Cincinnati, OH; Museum of Contemporary Art/San Diego, La Jolla, CA; Philadelphia Art Museum, Philadelphia, PA; Rhode Island School of Design, Museum of Fine Art, Providence; The Menil Collection, Houston, TX; Museum of Fine Art, Boston, MA; Museum of Fine Art, Santa Fe, NM; Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center, Vassar College, Poughkeepsie, NY; and the Walker Art Center, Minneapolis, MI. In addition to his work in sculpture, drawing and photography he has been commissioned to do three public works, one of which is in the New York Subway at Wall Street and another is situated in the International Air Terminal (Terminal 4) at John F.
